Overview

 

Scheduled for public beta release in 2007, Morning Flight Gold adds Order Entry, Job Tracking, and Invoicing to the Silver Edition. Other enhancements, mandated by the order entry functions, include built-in Backup and Restore. It's one thing to accidentally erase an estimate. Orders and Invoices need a higher level of security.

The feature set has been finalized for the beta version. Testing will reveal what needs to be changed. Morning Flight Gold will likely sell for $585.00 U.S., with upgrades from the Silver Edition available for $300.00 U.S., the difference in price between the two. Because all Morning Flight editions use the same data files, upgrading will be seamless.

Order Entry Window

 

Looks (and acts) like the window you're familiar with for making Quotes . . . no learning curve. The only difference is the blue panel on the right, which can be flipped through like a book by either clicking the radio buttons or pressing the PgUp/PgDn keys. And, of course, just a single quantity, down from the three for Quotes.

 

 

 

Converting a Quote

 

In Morning Flight, that's as easy as highlighting the Quote in a Selection window and choosing the quantity ordered. Need to repeat a previous Order? Same window, different heading, nearly the same process.
