Overview

Morning Flight divides all products into categories. Having separate drawers not only makes it easier to find things, it's mandatory if we want the program to narrow down the choice of paper. After all, when you're quoting envelopes, you don't want to have to search through all kinds of flat sheets, none suitable. All you're looking for are envelopes.

Offset categories have clear lines of demarcation. It's easy to separate flat sheets from envelopes. Copies, digital, and wide format on the other hand are in a world of their own.

Offset Categories

ProductCategories1

1.Sheets. Any sheet printed on other than cover or self-adhesive label paper. Includes carbonless sheets, but not carbonless sets.

2.Cards/Labels. Any sheet printed on cover or self-adhesive label paper.

3.Envelopes

4.Carbonless. Precollated sets only. Individual sheets belong in the sheets category.

Copy Category

This category accepts flat sheets only, no envelopes or carbonless sets. Carbonless sheets are Ok, as are covers and labels, provided your copier can handle them.

Digital Category

Same as copies, but also accepts digitally printed envelopes and carbonless. If you're a digital-only shop, you'll want to select a digital item as your primary product. Better still, disengage offset altogether under File > My Preferences.

Wide Format
A wide range of products printed by ink jet, from banners to signs, small decals to huge wall coverings and vehicle wraps. Whereas offset and digital products are linked to a specific press, wide format products are tied to the substrate on which they're printed. Pricing is per square area.
